This week’s photograph has been despatched in to us from New Zealand. Oscar Harrold from our personal East Yorkshire is working down underneath on a 1,800ha farm in Fairlie on the South Island for spring drilling and harvest.
The photograph exhibits “Huge John” out at sundown, pulling a 45ft sunflower cultivator.
Oscar says: “We’re primarily an arable farm and produce linseed, barley, wheat and white clover throughout 1,800ha of land.
“Huge John has change into important to domesticate and put together the land for drilling. Transporting Huge John could be fairly a problem as he’s too large to journey on most roads.”
