October marks the time to reap cooking apples, and Louisa and Tom at The Plough in Suckley, Worcestershire, have discovered a novel option to current them.
Wrapped within the shiny pages of Farmers Weekly for storage, the cooking apples crammed classic apple trays rescued from a relative’s granary after being power-washed and handled for woodworm.
