We downsized to this new home in June 2020. The 10m x 7m backyard had been accomplished to ‘look good ‘ with the standard sq. garden and surrounding shrubbery and many others. There was even a swing seat on gravel on the finish of the backyard. The builders clearly took the best route and there was no particular ‘design’ about it.
I noticed your course and did plenty of doodling on paper with straight traces and circles and many others. and got here up with what you see now. (I used container lids for the circles! )
I attempted to do it fairly cheaply with secondhand decking, retaining some shrubs and reduce down (and improved)the garden that was already there.
The pergola timber was new from diy retailer, we crammed borders with perennials and annuals and a few dwarf fruit bushes.
Total the price was about £1500 for the timber, trellis, fixings, window packing containers, cement, sand, gravel, edging, planting and some additional slabs to reinforce the ‘imply’ patio. Furnishings was additional after all.
Laborious work, however we expect value it and hope different people my be enthused and impressed by this outcome!
