Wherever we go, we hear the sound of chainsaws. Tree crews are out in power, making an attempt desperately to remain forward of the issue, however there are too many useless bushes and never sufficient expert arborists to remain on prime of it.
In our personal yard, we’re watering much less and fewer. I feel many of the native and Mediterranean bushes shall be okay. However now we have one Southern Magnolia (NOT planted by us, I hate it) which is beginning to look just a little peaked. I’m pondering that it is perhaps time to have it eliminated, and to switch it with one thing like a Desert Willow, which might thrive and look stunning on far much less water. Sadly, this implies we are going to lose some shade on the home, however thankfully, it’s going to enhance the solar’s affect on our photo voltaic panels.
I feel I must wait till the rains come and the tree firms are much less busy. Proper now, they’ve their fingers full.
