Thelma Velez, PhD (she/her/hers) is OFRF’s Analysis & Training Program Supervisor. Thelma joined Natural Farming Analysis Basis in 2021 and brings over 12 years of expertise in natural agriculture and sustainable meals methods to the group.
When she isn’t working, Thelma enjoys cooking and baking, mountain climbing, and making artwork. She resides in Florida together with her household and canine Mocha (a Boykin Spaniel and Lab combine), and enjoys visiting the state’s Everglades Nationwide Park (pictured proper).

I’m a Latina of Afro-Caribbean and Indigenous descent.
Why do you care about natural farming and/or natural analysis?
My mom uncovered me to natural meals within the early 90’s. When my associates have been out consuming quick meals, my mom was insistent on feeding us wholesome and natural salads, legumes, and residential cooked meals.
